The Process

This is the most important part of the process. During this meeting we will discuss all of the following items to make sure you get the product you expect:

  • Brand Requirements
  • Marketing Goals & Objectives
  • Discuss social media tags and outlets
  • What to wear
  • How to prepare
  • Set date for shoot
  • Choose best pricing model
  • How files & photos will be delivered

Day of Shoot

Once all preparations have been made, the day of the photo shoot should go smoothly. Be prepared for the following to make sure we have the best outcome:

  • Review any safety items to make sure all participants are safe during the shoot
  • Make sure all participants are prepared to follow the instructions of the photographer
  • Take periodic reviews of images with the photographer to make sure images are meeting expectations

It’s estimated there are 14 Trillion pictures taken each year. Professional editing is one more way to make your final product stand out from the crowd. Depending on the requirements of your project, each hour of shooting can result in 1-6 hours of editing after the shoot is complete. You will see some of the images on the day of the photo shoot, but the real magic takes place during the editing process. Once the shooting is done, the editing and retouching begins.

  • Color grading
  • Photoshop adjustments
  • Aligning images with brand requirements

Your products, on time, exceeding your expectations.

We will work with you during the consultation to help you choose the best format for your final product delivery. We offer:

  • Prints
  • Digital Files

Kick Off to Summer

I spent the weekend shooting photos at the North American Sand Soccer Championship tournament in our new home town of Virginia Beach. Virginia Beach has a really strong soccer community and the combination of soccer and beach sand is a natural for this area. With over 1,000 teams, 11,000 players and coaches representing over 20 states and several foreign countries, this was a very exciting event. The big action was in the Pro/Am stadium where 16 teams from around the…

Small Business, Big Attitude

I worked with a small business that had large competitors. With a short history, a small portfolio of products, and an even smaller manufacturing footprint, the decision was made to act big until they got big. We worked together and published pictures that showcased just how big this little company was. Here’s what we did together:   The product catalog was upgraded from cell phone photos to professional images with better lighting and background to give a high-end, professional look.…

High Power Head Shot Editing

I was approached to update a head shot for a local defense company executive. His current career level CEO and President of a mid-market defense and metal works company located in a rural area of North Carolina. He wanted to make sure his new head shot portrayed himself as leading a company located in a major metropolitan area. Now I just needed to figure out how to do that in a building that was designed in the 1970’s and located…
